Indian Smelter in Nairobi, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled Indian Smelter to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Smelter, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment to extract metals from raw materials. You must have a thorough understanding of the smelting process and be able to work with various types of metals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment according to safety protocols and procedures
- Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, and other factors during the smelting process
- Inspect equipment for any malfunctions or abnormalities and report them immediately
- Maintain accurate records of production levels, quality control measures, and any issues that arise during the smelting process
- Troubleshoot and resolve any problems that may occur during the smelting process
- Work with a variety of metals including iron, copper, aluminum, and zinc
- Follow all safety regulations and wear proper protective gear at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Smelter or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of the smelting process and ability to work with different types of metals
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety protocols
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work different shifts if necessary

We offer competitive salary of $1600 per month along with accommodation. This is an urgent position so candidates must already have their own visa in order to be considered for the role.
