We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and backhoes. Your main task will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these machines on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner according to company policies and procedures
- Complete daily maintenance tasks such as checking fluids, greasing moving parts, and reporting any issues to the maintenance team
- Conduct pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition before use
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating equipment on job sites
- Communicate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and coordinate tasks effectively

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents
- Familiarity with basic mechanical principles for troubleshooting minor issues with the equipment
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position without accommodation or visa sponsorship. You will be required to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime as needed. The work environment can be loud and dusty at times but all necessary safety gear will be provided. You may also need to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1500 per month.
