Registered Nurse for Maternity Ward
A busy hospital in Nairobi is seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in maternity care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality patient care during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. This role requires a nurturing attitude, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The nurse will work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and comfort of both mother and baby. As a registered nurse for the maternity ward, your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Providing prenatal education and support to expectant mothers
- Monitoring fetal development and maternal health during pregnancy
- Assisting doctors with labor and delivery procedures
- Monitoring mother and baby after delivery for any complications or postpartum issues
- Administering medications as prescribed by physicians
- Educating new mothers on proper newborn care techniques
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans for patients

Requirements:

- Valid nursing license in Kenya or India
- Minimum of 2 years experience in maternity care
- Strong knowledge of antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
