Junior Land Surveyor
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Land Surveyor to join our team in Mauren. As a Junior Land Surveyor, you will assist with various surveying tasks, including collecting and analyzing data, creating maps and plans, and conducting field surveys. This is a contract job with a salary of $1400 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with conducting field surveys using various equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners
- Collect and analyze data to produce accurate maps, plans, and reports
- Work closely with senior land surveyors to ensure project deadlines are met
- Use CAD software to create detailed drawings and plans
- Conduct research on property boundaries, legal descriptions, and other land data
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and documentation
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates on project progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in land surveying or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in CAD software and other surveying tools/equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about land surveying and looking for hands-on experience in the field. No prior experience is required; however, preference will be given to candidates who have completed relevant coursework or have some experience in the industry.
