Merchandiser - Mombasa, Kenya (Pakistani Nationals Only)



We are hiring a talented and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability. You will work closely with the sales team to develop effective merchandising plans, conduct market research, and analyze customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that products are displayed effectively in stores.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop effective merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Analyze customer behavior and adjust merchandising plans accordingly.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Ensure that products are displayed effectively in stores.
- Monitor competitor activity and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, production, and logistics.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of retail industry trends and consumer behavior.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this position. Please note that only Pakistani nationals will be considered for this role.
