Executive Chef
Our 5-star hotel in Mecca is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management. Your creativity and leadership skills will be essential in maintaining high-quality standards and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that showcase the flavors of Indian cuisine
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and efficiency
- Monitor food costs and maintain inventory levels
- Enforce strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
- Keep up-to-date with current culinary trends and techniques
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professionalism
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of food cost control, inventory management, and menu planning
Salary: $1700/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Mecca, Saudi Arabia (accommodation provided)
