Junior Accountant


Job Title: Junior Accountant - Lisbon, Portugal (Contract)


We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Junior Accountant to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of our company. This is a contract position with the potential for growth and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Adhere to all financial regulations and compliance standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role (freshers are welcome to apply)
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this position. This is a contract job without accommodation provided. However, we offer opportunities for growth within the company based on performance. Candidates must have a valid biometric passport for international travel.
