Instrument Technician - Shan, India

A leading oil and gas company in Shan, India is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join their team. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$ per month, and accommodation, visa and ticket will be provided.

As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in the oil and gas industry. This includes but is not limited to pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry. You should also have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles as well as knowledge of PLC programming.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone who is able to work independently and under pressure. You should also have strong troubleshooting abilities and be able to read technical diagrams and manuals.

As this is a contract position, flexibility with working hours is required. You may also be required to work on-call shifts during weekends or public holidays.
