Job Title: Moderator for Indian Community in Washington

We are seeking a Moderator who is fluent in English and familiar with the Indian community in Washington. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing communication within the Indian community on our platform.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor discussions and interactions within the Indian community to ensure they adhere to our platform's guidelines and policies
- Respond to inquiries and concerns from community members in a timely and professional manner
- Facilitate constructive and respectful communication among community members
- Identify and escalate any issues or trends within the community that may require intervention or action from higher management
- Collaborate with other moderators to maintain a positive and inclusive environment for all community members
- Stay updated on current events, trends, and cultural nuances within the Indian community to better understand and address their needs

Requirements:
- Fluent in English (additional fluency in an Indian language is a plus)
- Familiarity with the Indian community in Washington (or other major cities)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain neutral, calm, and professional when dealing with sensitive or controversial topics
- Strong understanding of cultural sensitivities within the Indian community
- Prior experience as a moderator or in a similar role is preferred but not required

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. As this role involves monitoring and responding to community discussions online, access to a reliable internet connection is required. Compensation for this position starts at $1200 per month.
