Cashier
A reputable retail store in Gujrat is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience as a cashier, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their purchases
- Scan and process items accurately and efficiently using POS system
- Accept payments in cash, credit or debit cards, and issue receipts
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balance and reconcile any discrepancies
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, exchanges, etc.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the store

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or related field is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a cashier in a retail or hospitality setting
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with POS systems is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
