Contract Industrial Architect (Oslo, Norway)


We are seeking a talented and driven Industrial Architect to join our team in Oslo, Norway on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and creating functional and aesthetically pleasing industrial structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial design principles and be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop designs that meet client requirements
- Create detailed drawings and models using advanced software programs
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and gather necessary information for new designs
- Research and recommend materials, finishes, and construction techniques for projects
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Manage project timelines and budgets effectively
- Communicate with clients to present design proposals, receive feedback, and make necessary revisions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proven experience in industrial design or architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other design software programs
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction materials
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with team members

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Experience working on industrial projects in Norway or Scandinavia region
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Oslo, Norway

Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)

Accommodation: Provided by company (shared apartment)

Visa/Work Permit: Company will provide visa sponsorship for non-EU candidates
