Contract Librarian in Randers


We are hiring a dynamic and enthusiastic Contract Librarian to join our team in Randers. As a Contract Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, providing reference and research assistance to patrons, and organizing and promoting various library programs and events. Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by selecting, acquiring, cataloging, and maintaining books and other materials
- Assist patrons with reference inquiries and research needs
- Plan, organize, and promote various library programs and events such as book clubs, author readings, and educational workshops
- Maintain the library's online presence through social media platforms and website updates
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop new programs and services that meet the needs of the community
- Train volunteers to assist with daily operations of the library
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance patron experience

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience working in a library or customer service environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of library systems and resources such as cataloging software and online databases
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patrons of all ages
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is $1400 per month.

Location:
The position is based in Randers, Denmark.

Accommodation:
