Information Security Analyst (Contract)

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying potential security risks and implementing measures to protect our company's information systems and data. Your role will involve conducting security audits, developing security policies and procedures, and staying up-to-date with the latest security threats and solutions. You will also be responsible for responding to any security incidents and providing recommendations for improving our overall cybersecurity posture. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities in our systems
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Monitor network traffic for potential security breaches
- Stay updated on the latest cyber threats and recommend solutions to mitigate risks
- Respond to any security incidents in a timely manner
- Conduct penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems
- Review system logs for unusual activity
- Train employees on best practices for information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, tools, and techniques
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or QualysGuard
- Familiarity with various operating systems including Windows, Linux, and MacOS
- Ability to stay current with emerging cyber threats and trends
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Salary:
This is a contract position offering a salary of 1400$ per month.
