Data Analyst - Contract Position (Faroe Islands)



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our team in Faroe Islands for a contract position. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and recommendations to our company.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and analyze large sets of data from various sources
- Develop and maintain databases and data systems
- Use statistical methods to identify trends and patterns in the data
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions
- Identify areas for improvement in data collection processes and make recommendations for optimization
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to data analysis

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, Python/R or other programming languages used for analyzing large datasets
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, Mongo DB etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information quickly and accurately
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an easy-to-understand manner

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1300$ per month.

Location:
This is a contract position based in Faroe Islands. The successful candidate must be able to work on-site without accommodation provided.
