Job Title: Interpreter/Translator


An interpreter/translator is responsible for converting spoken or written communication from one language to another. They must be fluent in at least two languages, with a strong understanding of both cultures. As an interpreter/translator, you will provide accurate and timely translations for various situations, such as meetings, conferences, and documents. You may also be required to interpret in real-time, either in person or remotely.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret and translate spoken or written communication accurately and efficiently
- Attend meetings, conferences, and other events to provide interpretation services
- Translate various documents including contracts, reports, and correspondence
- Research terminology and cultural references to ensure accurate translations
- Maintain confidentiality of all information during interpretation sessions
- Provide cultural guidance when necessary to ensure effective communication between parties
- Utilize translation software and tools as needed for efficient translations

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages with a strong understanding of both cultures
- Excellent communication skills in both languages (verbal and written)
- Proven experience as an interpreter/translator preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with translation software/tools
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Flexibility to work irregular hours if needed

Salary: $1200 per month
