Biometric Passport Research Scientist
Location: Faroe Islands, Denmark
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biometric Passport Research Scientist to join our team in Faroe Islands. As a Biometric Passport Research Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research and development on biometric technologies used in passports, with the goal of enhancing security and improving user experience. You will work closely with a team of engineers and researchers to design, develop, and test new biometric solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on biometric technologies used in passports
- Design and develop new biometric solutions for passport authentication
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to test and evaluate biometric systems
- Analyze data and provide recommendations for improving biometric systems
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in biometrics
- Communicate findings and present research at conferences
Requirements:
- PhD in Computer Science or related field with a focus on biometrics
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in research and development of biometric technologies
- Expertise in programming languages such as Java or C++
- Strong understanding of security protocols and encryption methods used in passports
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Salary: $1100 per month
