Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Dickirch. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods for our restaurant. Your duties will include selecting high-quality ingredients, developing new recipes, and designing visually appealing presentations for our desserts.
To excel in this role, you should have a passion for baking and a strong understanding of flavor combinations. You should also have experience working with different types of pastries and desserts, as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes
- Develop new dessert recipes that reflect current food trends
- Ensure all desserts are presented in an attractive manner
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Monitor the quality of all pastry products
- Collaborate with other members of the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of pastry orders
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs or assistants
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of different types of pastries, desserts, and baking techniques
- Creativity and ability to develop new recipes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and presentation skills
- Team player with excellent communication skills
Salary: $1200/month
Preference given to candidates with Egyptian or Canadian nationality. Fluency in English is required.
