IT Manager



We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team in Funchal. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our information technology systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the security, efficiency, and reliability of our systems.
- Manage and maintain all hardware, software, and network resources.
- Provide technical support to employees and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Monitor system performance and ensure timely backups and updates are completed.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrades of new systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and implement solutions.
- Manage IT budget and negotiate with vendors for cost-effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, security protocols, hardware, software, and databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, and data analytics.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $1000 per month. We also offer visa sponsorship for qualified candidates. This is an urgent hiring position due to our company's rapid growth.
