Junior Architectural Technologist - Braga, Portugal


As a Junior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation of architectural designs and plans for various construction projects in Braga. You will work closely with senior technologists and architects to develop detailed drawings and specifications for buildings, ensuring they comply with local regulations and industry standards.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in architectural drafting or design
- Proficient in CAD software and able to produce accurate technical drawings
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
- Able to work full-time without accommodation

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technologists and architects in creating architectural designs and plans for various projects
- Prepare detailed drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes and regulations
- Conduct site visits to gather information for design development
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other project team members to resolve any design issues that may arise during construction
- Research materials, products, and construction methods to ensure cost-effective and sustainable solutions are incorporated into designs
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices to continuously improve design processes
