Accountant

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Roskilde, Denmark. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and payroll
- Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly and annual basis
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial records
- Monitor and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding their financial status
- Identify areas for cost reduction or improvement in financial processes
- Collaborate with other departments to develop budgets and forecasts
- Assist with audits as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA certification or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
