Job Title: Back-End Developer

We are seeking a talented Back-End Developer to join our team in Funchal. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side of web applications and websites. Your main focus will be on developing and implementing efficient code, integrating front-end elements with server-side logic, and working closely with the development team to ensure high-quality user experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#, as well as experience working with databases and backend frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing, and debugging server-side applications
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Developing and maintaining databases for web applications
- Ensuring scalability and performance of backend systems
- Troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Back-End Developer
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with back-end frameworks such as Django or Spring Boot
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this position.

Location:
This job is located in Funchal but we welcome candidates from all nationalities who are able to obtain their own visa.
