Contract Painter

As a Contract Painter, you will be responsible for creating high-quality paintings for various projects. Your main tasks will include preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paint, and ensuring that the finished product meets client specifications. To excel in this role, you should have experience working as a painter and be comfortable with both indoor and outdoor work. This is a contract position, so you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with different clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Mix paint to achieve desired colors and textures
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Ensure that finished product meets client specifications by paying close attention to detail
- Clean up work area after completing project
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements
- Maintain inventory of painting supplies and equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a painter
- Comfortable working on both indoor and outdoor projects
- Ability to follow directions and pay close attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials if needed

Preferred:
- Experience working on contract jobs
- Knowledge of different painting techniques
- Experience working with different types of paints (e.g. oil-based, acrylic)

Salary: $1100 per month
