Entry Level Truck Driver - Almada, Portugal



We are a well-established transportation company seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as an Entry Level Truck Driver in Almada. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company trucks to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status
- Perform routine truck maintenance and inspections, reporting any issues or necessary repairs
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with good driving record
- High School diploma or equivalent education required
- Prior experience as a truck driver preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical labor as needed
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
