Preservation Architect


We are in need of a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Kolding. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings, structures, and monuments. Your primary role will be to ensure that these important pieces of history are maintained and protected for future generations. This is a contract job with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings to determine necessary preservation or restoration work
- Develop preservation plans and strategies to protect the integrity of historic structures
- Collaborate with construction teams and contractors to oversee restoration projects
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to historic preservation
- Utilize advanced knowledge of architecture and engineering principles in preservation efforts
- Conduct research on historical materials, techniques, and methods for restoration work
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all preservation projects

Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience working as a Preservation Architect
- Extensive knowledge of historical materials, techniques, and methods used in construction
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to historic preservation
- Excellent project management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills

Preference:
This position is open to all nationalities. However, preference will be given to candidates with experience working on historic buildings in Kolding or Denmark.
