As a Preservation Architect, you will play a crucial role in preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city of Kolding, Denmark. You will work closely with government agencies, property owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that these treasured landmarks are maintained for future generations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and identify potential preservation needs
- Developing preservation plans and strategies in accordance with local laws, regulations, and best practices
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement preservation projects
- Conducting research on building materials, techniques, and historical significance to inform preservation decisions
- Advising property owners on maintenance practices to prevent deterioration of historic structures
- Managing project budgets and timelines to ensure timely completion of preservation projects
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all preservation activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in historic preservation architecture
- Knowledge of architectural history, styles, materials, and techniques used in historic buildings
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to historic structures
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- A passion for preserving cultural heritage sites
