Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine


We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to lead our Indian cuisine kitchen team in Jizan. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating authentic Indian dishes while also possessing strong leadership skills to manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus featuring traditional and modern Indian dishes
- Train and manage kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Oversee food preparation to ensure consistency and quality of dishes
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Develop new recipes and make adjustments to existing ones as needed
- Work closely with restaurant management to develop cost-effective menus while maintaining high quality standards
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste
- Collaborate with other chefs to create special menus for events or promotions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also adhering to traditional recipes
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Degree or certification in culinary arts preferred

Salary: $1500/month (with accommodation provided)
