Database Administrator



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Aarhus. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. You will work closely with our development and IT teams to ensure efficient and effective database operations.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor database performance and ensure maximum availability
- Troubleshoot database issues and recommend solutions
- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Implement and maintain database security procedures
- Optimize database performance through index creation, query optimization, etc.
- Collaborate with development team to design new databases and improve existing ones
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in the field of database administration

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of SQL, MySQL, Oracle, and other relational databases
- Experience with data backup, recovery, security, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary: $1600 per month

City: Aarhus
