Pastry Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious pastries, desserts, and breads. You will also be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining kitchen equipment, and ensuring food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry and a strong understanding of flavor combinations and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads
- Develop new recipes and menu items
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in pastry techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Degree or certification in culinary arts preferred
- In-depth knowledge of ingredients and techniques used in pastry production
- Ability to manage inventory and cost control measures
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in recipe development
- Experience with managing a team is preferred
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
