Indian Executive Chef in Mombasa
We are seeking a talented and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Mombasa. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain innovative and authentic Indian menus that will delight our guests
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent execution of dishes
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and budgeting to maintain cost control
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop new concepts and promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into menu planning
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Executive Chef in an upscale Indian restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine along with modern techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Must have authorization to work in Mombasa without sponsorship
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this full-time position. This does not include accommodation or visa sponsorship, so candidates must have their own accommodation and valid work visa.
