Entry-Level Civil Engineer

As an entry-level Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the design, construction, and maintenance of various infrastructure projects in the Faroe Islands. This is a contract position that offers visa sponsorship for non-Faroese nationals.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning and design of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and buildings
- Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project feasibility
- Prepare project proposals and cost estimates
- Collaborate with other engineers and architects on project designs
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to superiors
- Assist with project budgeting and cost control measures
- Perform quality control checks on materials and construction processes
- Conduct site inspections to ensure safety standards are met

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or currently pursuing)
- No prior work experience required; we are seeking a candidate who is eager to learn and grow in their career as a Civil Engineer
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and structural analysis programs
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations in the Faroe Islands (or willingness to learn)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting

Salary:
The salary for this entry-level position is 1000$ per month.
