Civil Engineer for Infrastructure Projects in Faroe Islands

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with experience in infrastructure projects, specifically in the beautiful and unique location of Faroe Islands. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects such as roads, bridges, and water systems. Your expertise in project management and knowledge of local building codes will ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule. You must have a biometric passport and be willing to relocate to Faroe Islands for this role. Accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, including cost estimates and timelines
- Conduct site surveys and analysis to determine project feasibility
- Design structures using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Oversee construction progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and safety
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status
- Manage project budgets, including procurement of materials and hiring subcontractors when needed
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering, preferably with a focus on infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials
- Knowledge of CAD software for design purposes
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Faroe Islands
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Faroe Islands (accommodation provided)
