Assistant Baker


We are a well-established bakery in the Faroe Islands looking for an Assistant Baker to join our team. As an Assistant Baker, you will assist our experienced bakers in preparing and baking a variety of goods, including breads, pastries, and cakes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about baking and wants to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting in measuring and mixing ingredients to prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and icings
- Operating baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters
- Rolling out doughs and cutting them into shapes for various baked goods
- Decorating cakes and pastries with icings, glazes, and toppings
- Packaging finished products for display or sale
- Ensuring that work area is clean and sanitary at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary education is a plus
- Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Passion for baking and willingness to learn from experienced bakers
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Physically fit to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This position is located in the beautiful Faroe Islands. Preference will be given to candidates who are already living in or willing to relocate to the Faroe Islands.
