Heavy Equipment Operator

As a heavy equipment operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery used in construction and other projects. You will work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that operations are carried out efficiently and safely. This is a full-time position based in the city of Horsens, with accommodation provided and visa sponsorship available for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, cranes, and loaders according to project specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Communicate with project managers and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Ensure proper use of materials and resources to minimize waste
- Keep accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator or similar role
- Knowledge of construction principles, practices, tools, and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Physically fit with the ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training or certification in heavy equipment operation is preferred.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.

This position is based in Horsens.
