Merchandiser for Retail Store in Al-Khor, Qatar

We are hiring a dynamic and experienced Merchandiser to join our retail store in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating attractive product displays and ensuring the right stock levels to drive sales and maximize profits. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in merchandising, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing displays by arranging products in an appealing and organized manner.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate with the inventory team to ensure timely restocking.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and popular products.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices and place orders.
- Ensure that all products are properly labeled with accurate pricing information.
- Train and supervise employees on merchandising techniques and standards.
- Analyze sales data to make informed decisions on product placement and promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment at all times.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing displays.
- Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month, along with accommodation provided by the company. This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Note:
This position requires candidates who hold biometric passports from Kenya due to visa restrictions in Qatar.
