Welder - Mombasa

We are in need of a skilled Welder to join our team in Mombasa. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and joining metal parts together for various projects. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month, and accommodation will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements
- Operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welders
- Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding by removing rust, dirt, or other debris
- Join metal components using various welding techniques such as brazing, soldering, or arc welding
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary repairs as needed
- Maintain welding equipment by performing regular maintenance and repairs
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear while on the job

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc)
- Ability to operate welding equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Certification in Welding or related field is preferred but not required
