Part-Time Construction Manager
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Part-Time Construction Manager to join our team in Aarhus. As a construction manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and supervising workers. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in the construction industry while also having the flexibility of a part-time schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage project schedules and budgets
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are completed according to specifications
- Supervise and coordinate the work of construction workers, subcontractors, and other team members
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Communicate with clients on project updates and address any concerns or changes
- Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports, change orders, and budget updates
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in construction management or related field preferred
- Previous experience in construction management or related role is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time-management skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Aarhus (accommodation can be provided if needed)
