Information Security Analyst

Our company in Roskilde is seeking an experienced and skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and systems from potential cyber threats. This is a contract job with a salary of 1600$, without accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability scanning to proactively identify weaknesses in our systems
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve our security measures
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure a secure environment for all company operations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Proven work experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and compliance requirements (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
