Entry Level Merchandiser - Almada, Portugal


We are a retail company looking for an Entry Level Merchandiser to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are displayed and stocked in a visually appealing and organized manner. Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up product displays according to company standards
- Ensure that products are stocked and replenished on shelves and racks
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or overstock situations
- Keep track of product expiration dates and rotate stock as needed
- Collaborate with store associates to identify best-selling products and recommend changes to display layout
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with merchandising guidelines
- Participate in promotional events and assist with setting up displays or booths as needed
- Report any customer feedback or concerns related to product placement or presentation

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, stand for extended periods of time, and climb ladders as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking purposes
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required
