Office Assistant - Muscat, Oman
As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Your duties will include managing office supplies, maintaining office records, and assisting with clerical tasks such as data entry and answering phone calls. You should have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage office supplies and ensure availability of necessary items
- Maintain office records, both physical and digital
- Assist with data entry and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Answer phone calls and redirect them when necessary
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and emails
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Assist with organizing meetings or events as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in work
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
