Contract Merchandiser in Lahore, Pakistan
We are currently seeking a Contract Merchandiser to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for overseeing the buying and selling of products for our company. Your main duties will include negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and analyzing sales data to make informed purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms for products
- Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to ensure sufficient stock levels
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify popular products and adjust purchasing accordingly
- Collaborate with marketing team to create effective promotions and displays for products
- Communicate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competition
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in merchandising or purchasing role
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.
Location:
This is a contract position based in Lahore, Pakistan. Candidates who are local or willing to relocate will be given preference.
