We are in need of a highly skilled and motivated Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure and systems. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's technology resources.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Perform regular backups of critical data and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place.
- Manage user accounts and access levels for various systems.
- Install and maintain software applications on servers and workstations.
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network related issues.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies or upgrades.
- Conduct regular security audits to ensure the protection of our network from cyber threats.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Network and Systems Administrator.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), routing/switching technologies, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Experience with Windows Server operating systems (2008/2012/2016) as well as Linux/Unix systems.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this position.
