Data Mining Analyst


As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting valuable insights and patterns from large datasets using various statistical and machine learning techniques. You will work with a team of data scientists and analysts to identify trends, create predictive models, and make data-driven recommendations. Your role will involve mining both structured and unstructured data from various sources, including databases, social media, and web analytics.

Responsibilities:
- Cleanse and transform raw data to prepare it for analysis
- Use statistical methods to identify correlations and patterns in datasets
- Develop predictive models using machine learning algorithms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business problems and develop data-driven solutions
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through visualizations, reports, and presentations
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments in data mining techniques and tools

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts such as regression analysis, clustering, and hypothesis testing
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience working with large datasets and databases is a plus
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms such as decision trees, random forests, or neural networks is desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about complex problems
- Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Location: Roskilde, Denmark (Remote work may be possible)

Salary: Starting at $1300 per month (based on experience)

Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours per week)

Experience Level: Entry-level/No prior experience required
