Entry-Level Truck Driver in Los Angeles, USA

A trucking company in Los Angeles is seeking an Entry-Level Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from one location to another, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our products. This position is perfect for individuals who are looking to kickstart their career as a truck driver and have little to no experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
- Plan routes using GPS or paper maps
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues that may arise during transportation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a truck driver is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Experience driving in urban areas, specifically Los Angeles
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Salary: $1000 per week (starting salary)

Working Hours: Full-time, flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
