Hotel Sales Manager
Our luxury hotel in Acre is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and increase occupancy. You will work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to identify potential clients, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a strong network within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase occupancy and revenue
- Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and cold calling
- Build relationships with key decision makers in the corporate, group, and travel industry segments
- Negotiate contracts with clients to secure business for the hotel
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using our CRM system
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless event execution
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the hotel brand
- Monitor competitorsβ sales activities and adjust strategies accordingly
- Prepare monthly reports on sales performance for management review
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong network within the hospitality industry is preferred
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Willingness to travel as needed
