Preservation Architect - Faisalabad, Pakistan



We are currently hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in Faisalabad, Pakistan. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and any necessary repairs or modifications
- Developing preservation plans and proposals for the restoration and maintenance of historic buildings
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the preservation work is carried out to high standards
- Identifying appropriate materials and techniques for restoration projects, taking into account historical accuracy and sustainability
- Overseeing the construction process to ensure that restoration work is carried out according to plans and specifications
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during the preservation process
- Providing expertise on historic building codes, regulations, and best practices in preservation architecture

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture with a focus on preservation or conservation
- Minimum of 5 years experience working on historic preservation projects
- Thorough understanding of architectural history, styles, materials, and techniques used in different time periods
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team of professionals from different backgrounds

This position offers a salary of $1800 per month without accommodation. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. This role is suitable for male candidates.
