Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting sensitive information and ensuring the overall security of our company's systems and networks. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and experience in the field of information security.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a secure environment
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious or unauthorized behavior
- Investigate security breaches and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and make necessary adjustments to security measures
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the implementation of security measures in all systems and applications
- Train employees on best practices for data protection and information security awareness
- Participate in incident response activities as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven work experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus software, etc.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to stay updated on emerging threats and adapt quickly to changing environments
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM) are preferred

Location: This position is based in Kolding but can also be done remotely. Visa sponsorship is available for international candidates.

Salary: The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
