Crane Operator
Location: Braga, Portugal


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes used for construction and other activities. Your main duties will include safely maneuvering cranes to lift, move and position heavy materials and equipment, performing regular maintenance checks, and following all safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes, including mobile cranes, tower cranes, and overhead cranes
- Transport materials and equipment to different locations on the construction site using the crane
- Inspect crane for any defects or malfunctions before operation
- Ensure proper setup of the crane based on load weight and terrain conditions
- Safely maneuver the crane to lift, move and position heavy materials or equipment
- Communicate with ground crew to ensure safe movement of materials
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols at all times
- Perform regular maintenance checks on the crane to ensure its proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of daily activities including any incidents or accidents that occur

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or similar setting
- Valid crane operator license/certification is required
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to crane operation
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
