Freelance Interpreter (English-Swahili) - Acre, Kenya


We are seeking a freelance interpreter to work with our company, providing interpretation services from English to Swahili and vice versa. This position is based in the city of Acre, Kenya.

As an interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately interpreting conversations, speeches, and other forms of communication between English and Swahili speakers. This may include in-person interpretation as well as over-the-phone or video interpretation. In addition, you may also be required to translate written documents from English to Swahili and vice versa.

To be successful in this role, you must be fluent in both English and Swahili with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required. However, a deep understanding of both cultures is essential for accurate interpretation.

This is a freelance position with a salary of $900 per month. As part of your compensation package, we also offer accommodation and visa sponsorship for non-Kenyan nationals.
