We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our team in St. Petersburg, Russia. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and securing our company's databases, ensuring their optimal performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain databases for various applications and systems.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Implement security measures to protect the integrity of the data.
- Develop backup and recovery plans to ensure data protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new database solutions.
- Conduct regular data audits to identify potential errors or inconsistencies.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding database-related issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in database administration.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems (DBMS).
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, security, and performance tuning techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with Oracle databases.
- Knowledge of cloud database technologies such as Amazon RDS or Microsoft Azure SQL Database.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.

Salary:
1500$ per month
