Senior Accountant


As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our company in Vejle. Your main duties will include preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets, and monitoring expenses. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining financial reports, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English (Danish is a plus)
- Valid work permit or residency in Denmark

Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, budgets, and expenses
- Perform budget analysis to identify variances and make necessary adjustments
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Review financial data for accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies
- Create financial reports for management to aid in decision-making
- Assist with the implementation of new accounting policies or procedures
- Train junior staff on accounting processes
- Ensure compliance with national and international accounting standards


Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.

This position is based in Vejle.
